An opportunity to help crowd fund an awesome project...

Friday, March 22, 2013 - 18:40

Hi Folks,

If you are reading this letter from me, then you are either (a) a Graham Moseley Brown fan, (b) like me, have a sincere interest in the arts, or (3) are generally interested in music. If you've received this in the form of an email, and it's in error, feel free to use the opt/out link below. It does work, and short of a confirmation email you'll receive nothing further from me.

I suppose it comes as no surprise that in today's economic climate, it's harder than ever to get good, solid ideas off the ground. Most funding, when available is only available to those who really don't need it. Traditional lenders require solid financial backgrounds, credit score requirements that seem unrealistically high - a resume that most start-ups simply don't have, or not enough collateral to make it an acceptable credit risk to these institutions.

Enter Kickstarter! ( What is it? Kickstarter is a crowd-funding platform specifically designed for use by artists, entrepreneurs and other creative individuals to help fund their projects. In this case I'd like to share with you one such project...

Entirely self funded to this point, Philadelphian / Chester County native, Graham Brown has come to the crossroads of completing the recording project ("To The Brink") he began fourteen months ago. To complete this project he is seeking to raise $7500.00 to be used for professional mixing and mastering (making radio ready) the 12 songs on "To The Brink". Additionally, funding will be used for the physical production of compact discs, printing and marketing of the "To The Brink" project. Graham seeks your help to fund the completion of this project. Read what people are saying about Graham...

"Graham is an artist who I have known his entire life. We started working together professionally in 2007. I was fortunate to be on the production team that produced his first record "Fire!". The team included Phil Nicolo (Studio 4 Recording - Philadelphia, PA), engineer and mixing, myself producing and Dennis Brown executive producing.

I've heard some of his latest work, Graham has further refined his already quite formidable songwriting and the end result "TO THE BRINK"." (Jay Davidson - Whitney Houseton, (World Tour), Funk Brother's (Motown), Steve Winwood)

"Runaway Train is a great song...finally got to hear it. Seriously, that song sounds amazing. Came up on the Ipod in the car and I was deeply pleased", (Jesse Lundy - Point Entertainment)

"Graham Moseley Brown, just Graham to me was one of my students for five years. I remember his first lessons. A kid with a God given talent working hard towards a dream. I am so proud how this kid, now a true artist has developed. Give a listen and check out the Kick Start program and help him make that dream come true. Believe me he's got the goods. " (Darryl Keith - Darryl Keith Band, DKP Productions)
